Extra-corporeal shock-wave therapy has been used for years to help with wound healing and improve healing of bone fractures and damaged or inflamed tendons and ligaments. LiST is used in physical therapy for pain reduction, increase in metabolism at the cellular level, re-vascularization, and recovering normal muscle tone following various disorders.
